Arnoud Klop made this wonderful TinyDocu about us. He catches our vibe beautifully in the video. We are working on translations.

When we started, there were only trees. Since then, we have done a lot of work. We felled sick and dead trees, sew them into planks and built our own forestry shed from them.
We created ‘base camp’ which in the warmer months bustles with energy from volunteers: travelers who share our ideals and join us to contribute to the project and learn new skills.
We created forest pathways and clearings and started laying the foundation for our yoga temple with amazing view on the lake. Since Summer 2025, we are open to guests! We have a green camper spot (book via Park4Night), a cozy tiny house and a campsite by the water where for 3-4 tents.
Your stay supports our initiative! We look forward to welcoming you.
What does Ekamåla mean?
Eka (sanskrit): one, oneness, unity; måla (swedish): designated place. This name honors the human roots of the land by using its historical name Ekamåla, and expresses the intention we have with it: to share our love for nature, simplicity and peace.

”A walk through the forest, then the magnificent lake as a perfect place to have breakfast and read a book.”
